Timed Challenge

First ever Timer Challenge, in honor of the *time travel* theme for Stamp-a-faire this year. You are encouraged to grab a timer and get creative!
  • You have 7 minutes to grab 7 supplies to use on your card.  This needs to include your ink, paper and stamps too, so maybe you should be sure to grab the basics first and go from there!  (You do not need to count adhesive as one of your limited supplies.)
  • Then create a quick card in 17 minutes or less using the supplies you selected.
So here is the creation! Love making cards with leftover supplies - it's a double win.
Using up the scraps you can't bear to throw away and half the work is already done because the card concept is laying right in the box with the supplies that are saying to you: "Use me up someday"!

The background paper resembles a recipe card with all the ticket detail already on the design, cute 6x6 pack from Simple Stories. Fillable frame and birthday sentiment from PTI finish up the card!

Papertrey Ink 7th Anniversary

Fun to use the Sketch and Color recipes!
The Ruby Rose stamp set has pretty much become a staple supply in my stash of stamp sets!
Can't believe how versatile and fun to use this set is!

Weddings from the Mom View

We have 2 lovely daughters;
Each getting married within a very short time period.
Life is a bit of a whirlwind, it is all very precious.
A precious stage of life that too quickly fades to memories
These days will be treasured for many years.

May you take away a treasure or two as you visit here today    ~jk

Table Decor
A fresh flower bouquet on each table, each vase was unique,

Menus to describe the unique dishes for guests who were
not familiar with dishes from the International Cuisine

Fun With Paper Crafting for Weddings!

Chalkboards are very popular for wedding messaging and signs.  We were SO lucky to have Kimberly Salisbury from Paisley Parrot Designs create these for us!

We knew that not all guests would be interested in dancing, so board games were set out as additional entertainment and it was a big hit!  Grandpa playing card games with the kids' college friends was priceless!

Dinner was served as an International Buffet

Chalkboard Messaging by Kimberly from Paisley Parrot showed guests where to find their favorite food choices.
